Certis USA Breaks Ground for Wasco Warehouse
WASCO, CA, July 24 -- Certis USA broke ground for the construction of a 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse at its production facility here. The biopesticide company manufactures environmentally friendly biological and botanical crop protection products used by conventional and organic growers. The new warehouse will serve as interim storage of Certis USA products before they are distributed to the company’s national and international markets.
“Our need for additional warehousing reflects the growth of Certis USA,” said Certis USA Wasco Plant Manager Bill Doak. “This warehouse is part of an expansion project that we have been undertaking since 2008 where substantial new formulation and packaging capacities have been added at our Wasco plant.”
In addition to the investment at Wasco, Certis USA has expanded its sales and technical teams in 2009 and plans to introduce several new biological crop protection products, Doak said.
